AHIP, a youth focused Non-Governmental Organization was established in 1989 and commenced implementation of young people’s program in 1992. The Organisation Later expanded its focus to include women. The major focus areas are development, health, social and economic issues as it relates to young people and women in Northern Nigeria.
AHIP has three state branches in Kano, Bauchi and Jigawa and implements projects in 12 Northern states.
AHIP has Mentored over 100 NGOs and has Partnered with NGOs and Government in 12 Northern states to do youth based programs. Over the years, AHIP has been managing 4 multi-trade vocational centres in three states targeting the educationally deprived and economically disadvantage young people and women. |
